Former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick clearly needs medical help for his extremist behavior and narcissism, but instead liberal media outlets have been lavishing praise on him for his supposed “courage.”
First GQ named Colin as its “Citizen of the Year.” Not to be outdone, Sports Illustrated followed suit and gave Kaepernick its “Muhammad Ali Legacy Award.”
Claimed the magazine’s senior writer Michael Rosenberg in the journalistic tongue bath he gave to the radical activist who has made sport out of disrespecting America’s military, “In the last 16 months, Kaepernick’s truth has been twisted, distorted and used for political gain. It has cost him at least a year of his NFL career and the income that should have come with it.”
Rosenberg went on, “For all those reasons — for his steadfastness in the fight for social justice, for his adherence to his beliefs no matter the cost — Colin Kaepernick is the recipient of the 2017 Sports Illustrated Muhammad Ali Legacy Award.”
Thankfully, former Republican Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee saw right through this nonsense, and hit the sports magazine with a wicked zinger for giving Colin this award. Tweeted Huckabee, “New name for old magazine- @SInow will become “Sports ELIMINATED.” Kaepernick gets Ali award. Heck, I’ve played in as many NFL games this year as he has, but then he’s done a lot to destroy @NFL so makes sense.” Ouch! How much do you love Huckabee for this?
