No matter how sweet the taste is, the wrong words and actions can make everything bitter. Especially, when that unprofessional manner is directed to the people in blue who are supposed to protect us. This happened in Dunkin’ Donuts, New York.
Unfortunately, nationwide chain employees felt liberate dand bold enough to against policemen and women by refusing to serve them.
Here is the story behind it:
I was not a nearly pleasing incident, where two policeman entered the store and they were served with the phrase “I don’t serve cops.” As a result, a police union has called for a boycott against Dunkin’ Donuts.
Funny moments take place, one of them is a catch that happened recently, when a nY cop was asked where the neares DD store is, they replied “I’m not allowed to do that.”
Michael Palladino, president of the Detectives’ Endowment Association police labor union, stated about the situation that it was “disgraceful and it should not go unattended.” He added, “Political leaders in this city have encouraged this type of behavior by constantly demonizing cops and pushing their decriminalization agenda.”
He continued, “Since the story was reported, the union office received a lot of feedback from active and retired members supporting the boycott. I know that Dunkin Donuts supports law enforcement, which is why I am disappointed that their official statements are weak and suggest denial.”
What do yu think about this? Is boycotting Dunkin’ Donuts the right thing to do?
